CMTS Hardware
When you purchase the CMTS module, you will see a new menu Hardware CMTS in your ISPadmin. Through this menu, you will be able to add modems and amplifiers (headends), and to display retrieved information about hardware used and frequencies (Hardware CMTS Hardware, Hardware CMTS Frequency). Information is retrieved via SNMP from cable modems, so there is no need to retrieve it from routers.
Adding headends/amplifiers
If you have added routers into your system, you need to add headends (Hardware Routers All, Add headend), and then amplifiers to them (Hardware CMTS Amplifiers).
Adding CMTS services
Then you can add CMTS services to clients in the Client card > Active services. Information on both, statistics of the service and the possibility to restart a modem will be displayed in the Client card > Internet statistic, Cable modem section.
Filtering CMTS clients and routers
In Clients Internet, you´ll have a Service type filter with CMTS. You can also filter clients with CMTS services in Hardware CMTS Detail (Click on name to get to the Client card.)
Also, you can use filter State > With CMTS in HardwareRoutersAll and display routers with connected CMTS.
