CATV Lines

If the CATV module is active, this page helps to keep a record of client CATV sockets. These sockets uniquely identify the physical cable that leads to a particular client’s flat.

You can add a new building (along with the position of each distribution frame and the number of physical cables in each frame) by clicking on . Enter basic details such as building name, address and the number of floors. You can also append a note. Beneath the form, you can see a graphical representation of a given building. There are 8 fields positioned around the diagram. You can enter distribution frame numbers into these fields. Once you save the settings, the distribution frame numbers and their positions will be added to the system.

In the overview, you can search for those items that match your criteria. You can search here by building name, city, street, building number and the number of floors. Enter a certain parameter into the relevant field and click on Search. If you want to return to the original list, click on Reset.

Apart from adding new buildings and searching the list, you have the following options:

Catv pripojky zobrazeni

Show access lines in a given building Once you click on this icon, a page will appear with detailed information about the positions of individual distribution frames as well as sockets in a given building. If a particular socket number has already been assigned to a client, you will see the name of that client next to the number of the socket in question. When you hover over a client’s name, the history of use of that particular socket will appear. Next to each distribution frame, there are fields that can be used to enter socket numbers for each physical cable (the number of fields = the number of floors). In practice, it is mostly the case that one cable is used for one floor, so there cannot be more cables in a distribution frame than there are floors in a given building.

Edit budovu

Edit a given building. Editing options are the same as the options offered when you are adding a building.

icon img

Add photos to the photo gallery of a given building. Having clicked on the icon, use the button and choose the file/s you want to upload to the system. You can also arrange for the system to change the resolution of an uploaded photo to the one that you choose from the drop-down menu. A given photo gallery can be divided into several folders (you have to fill in the Folder name field). You can finish the process by clicking on Save.

icon delete btsp

Delete a given building

icon info2 When you are adding/editing a client in the Client card, there is an item called CATV access line. You can assign a socket number to a given client there. To do so, you first have to select City, Street, Building No. and Switchboard. Then you will be offered a list of the socket numbers that are defined for the building in question.
