Router monitoring

If router is monitored, the system does not copy any configurations, it barely passively reads information via SNMP, or API. If   Only router monitoring is not checked (Hardware Routers All, router edit), which is a common status, configurations are copied (mangle, shape, firewall, dhcp...) to routers via SSH service and API interface.

So if you add all routers from your network into the system you will get a complete overview of all routers in one place. There are better monitoring options in Nagios integrated monitoring system which sends outage notifications.

alert icon Never leave router in such a mode so as to ISPadmin cannot connect to router via wrong access data (i.e. API, SSH, or SNMP protocols flash in red). This mode may cause unexpected server load leading to system failure. We recommend you to switch router to INACTIVE mode!!!

Switch router to operation mode

If you are sure that routers and the Internet services are set up correctly you may proceed with the last step - connecting clients to your network - which means to copy settings made in ISPadmin into router configuration. Switch off   Only router monitoring

All changes stored on routers will be applied within 5 minutes following their modification. You can also run the process of router configuration update manually via router update Update the router configuration which has an immediate effect.
