Clients may send SMS from this tab. This option is only available if you connect SMS gateway to ISPadmin. If the gateway is not connected, this function will not be active.

ID ci_sms_enable in Settings System Settings Client Portal must be set to 1 to display this tab. You can also define the amount of SMS´s available per month in ci_sms_per_month. The maximum amount of characters per one SMS can be defined in ci_sms_length.

Phone No.: Numbers can be inserted manually or selected from the telephone number directory on the right.

Text: The text of the message.

Clients will see how many characters are written  and how many messages will be sent.

Info box:

• Monthly limit - the maximum number of messages available for the client.
• Already sent in current month - the number of messages sent by the client
• Max. character count / SMS - the maximum number of characters per one SMS.
• Total SMS sent - the total number of sent SMS´s by the client. If client clicks on the number, a history of sent SMS will be displayed.

Telephone number directory

Clicking on Telephone number directory will display a page where clients may add (+ Add contact), edit or delete contacts.
The list itself may be used for adding phone numbers to a message by clicking on phone number(s). One or more number(s) may be used.

Send button: 

Click on it to send the SMS.

There are 2 important parameters relating to this feature in Settings System Settings Client Portal:

• ci_sms_add_text - Text to be added to each SMS sent from the Client portal.
• ci_sms_add_text_position - Position of the text in each SMS: 
  • 0 - Text is added to the beginning
  • 1 - Text is added to the end

SMS´s sent from the Client portal are listed in the overview of SMS messages in History section in the Client card.
