We have not tried or tested any specific barcode readers, but we know from providers that it is possible to use any reader that can be configured. Basically, that means that a suitable reader should allow you to set the type of event that launches after the code has been scanned. It is recommended that the reader should not send off a form after each scan. It should allow you to scan further codes. The sending is caused by that fact that the reader simulates a click on the Enter key after each scan. This option should be off by default, or you should deactivate it yourself. If the condition is fulfilled, it does not matter what barcode reader you have.
In addition, it is necessary to set the following: in SettingsSyst. settingsInventory, you have to allow code scanning using the barcode reader in the central_store_adding_by_barcode key.
